What’s this product for? What do you mean by dual exfoliation?
This advanced body wash provides dual exfoliation. It uses natural perlite beads (derived from volcanic ash) and encapsulated salicylic acid beads for gentle physical exfoliation, buffing away dead skin cells. The AHA/BHA combination (glycolic and lactic acid/salicylic acid) provides deeper chemical exfoliation, unclogs pores, reduces the appearance of "strawberry skin" and bumps, and promotes cell turnover. Lactic acid also adds a hydrating benefit.
I am new to exfoliation; what should I know about this product?
Exfoliation is the way to smoother skin! This body wash uses both AHAs (glycolic and lactic acid) and BHAs (salicylic acid) for gentle exfoliation. If you're new to exfoliating, start by using it 2-3 times a week and gradually increase to daily use as your skin adjusts. Discontinue use if you experience any irritation.
Why do I need to use SPF after any AHA-BHA products?
AHAs and BHAs, while incredibly effective can also make your skin more sensitive to the sun. Using a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher every day is crucial to protect your skin from sun damage. Think of it as protecting your newly revealed, radiant skin!
Is this sunscreen suitable for daily use?
